Cristina Castellanos Serrano is an economist specialized in public policies, labour market and gender mainstreaming. She works as Senior Researcher and Consultant at Tavistock Institute (London) and as Associate Professor on Economic Policy at the Cardenal Cisneros University (Madrid). She is experienced in the elaboration and management of policy evaluation and research projects, aimed at providing economic and social analysis for the design, implementation and assessments of public policies at national and EU levels.
As experienced project manager and researcher, she has being involved in Latin American, EU and Spanish economic research for different organizations, including the European Commission (DG EAC, DG EMPL, DG REGIO, DG JUSTICE), European Parliament, CEDEFOP, EIGE, the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Spanish Women’s Institute, ICEX or the Spanish Central Bank. She has participated in several European networks on employment, social inclusion, gender and lifelong learning (SYSDEM, EGGE, EGGSI, ENEGE, VETWORK), as well as in other European, national, regional and local peer reviewing and networks.
She is graduated in Management and Business Administration (CUNEF) and Master in Gender Studies (Complutense University of Madrid). She is finalizing her Economics PhD thesis.
