PHD in Phylosophy from the University of Birmingham, Kerstin Junge has been working at the Tavistock Institute as Principal Researcher/Consultant since 2010. Among her tasks, she has directed evaluation studies by providing theoretical frameworks for evaluation , steering focus of research tools and approaches to data collection, sense making of research findings. She has also been involved in designing evaluation guidelines and writing evaluation methodology papers, managing European and national research and evaluation projects ensuring timely and on budget delivery of project milestones as well as effective collaboration across multi-organisation and multi-country partnerships through project planning (risk assessment, critical path, milestones), effective allocation of resources and team members to tasks.
She applies a variety of qualitative methods such as design and execution of structured and semi-structured interviews, participant observation, literature reviews, design and facilitation of workshops and action learning groups to her daily work. In addition, she organises and runs workshops and small conferences as part of project work.
