Seventeen researchers from the members of MENON met in Brussels to “align the MENON priorities with the actual researchers’ competencies” and to strengthen relationships between the different member organisations and within MENON. Researchers from Belgium, Greece, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK and Hungary were represented. Also, project ideas were discussed as well as innovative responses to European research questions especially in the area of new technologies and learning.
The OSR project won the silver award for research projects at the Learning Impact 2011 conference in Long Beach California.
The Learning Impact Awards are designed to recognize the most impactful use of technology worldwide in support of learning. This unique program evaluates established, new, and research efforts in context at an implementing learning institution
The International Seminar “EU, Caribbean & Central America cooperation in Research and Innovation” took placed in the Silken Hotel in Brussels, Belgium last 5th of October, 2011.
The Seminar, jointly organized by the ENLACE and EUCARINET projects with the support of the European Commission (DG Research and Innovation), aims at foster the cooperation in Research and Innovation among Europe, Central America and the Caribbean through discussions and consensus building among research officers from these regions, European Commission officers and other Research and Innovation stakeholders.

The book “Apprendimento e nuove tecnologie. Modelli e strumenti”, where an article by MENON on the Learnovation visionswas awarded the 2011 AIF award (by the Italian Trainers Association) for the best book on training and personal development.
